This doesn't fit the "Bush lowered our standing in the eyes of the world" cliche very well, does it? It is only a cliche because the elites loved repeating it. The propagandists love repeating lies, but are loath to repeat the truth. Our standing in the world certainly has been lowered by the bower-in-chief. One would think the Russians would be ecstatic since Obama summarily gave up our entire missile defense shield just for them.
