Female on Male Extortion

Protecting vulnerable females is an instinct engrained in American society, doubtless much to the chagrin of those of the radical feminist persuasion. Some women find ways to use this instinct for evil. Often, the mere charge that a man may have "done something" is enough to finish him -- ruin his standing in the community, lose custody of his children, and perhaps land him in jail.

Reader's Digest this month publishes the account of Tracy West, a woman who went to extraordinary lengths to destroy her former lover and father of her child. Ms. West staged a violent attack on herself complete with self-inflicted injuries and an elaborate tale to back it up, all designed to deprive the father of child visitation rights. The story was originally published in the LA Times. Go read it.

"Women are as physically aggressive, or more aggressive, than men in their relationships with their spouses or male partners."
To date, Ms. West has received no punishment for her heinous actions.
