That's sarcasm. A northeastern state favoring a northeastern moderate is hardly surprising. Does this make Romney inevitable? I hope not. NH hardly counted as a barometer. The result is as expected.
South Carolina will be far more important.
"I like being able to fire people."
Statements like this from Romney cause me to like him more. Notice he said he likes "being able" to fire people. This is not the same as relishing firing them. That's point one.
Two, people are hired and fired based on performance. One who does not perform should be fired. If you cannot fire people, you don't have jobs but welfare entitlements. There is absolutely NO NEED to apologize for this statement.
Republican candidates attacking Romney from the left make a grave mistake. They are playing right into his hands. They are making Romney look like the conservative. They are making Democrats look "reasonable."
Where have all the real conservatives gone?
