Republican Coalescence Now Much Simpler

Conservatives longing for a narrowing of the Republican field have gotten their wish, in light of the political suicides of Gingrich and Perry. For Republicans, the anti-Romney couldn't be clearer. The only two remaining alternatives are Santorum and Paul. Since Paul's foreign policy statements are seen as untenable, and he struggles to answer questions about statements in his newsletters, the clear alternative to Mitt must now be Santorum. You don't want Romney to become the Republican nominee? Then get behind Santorum. Now. Before its too late. We do not need to put up another "moderate" in the face of what has proved to be a terrible advance of American Marxism.
