Somewhere, Ann Coulter Softly Weeps into her Pillow

And Glenn Beck joins her as Fox News projects Newt Gingrich to handily win South Carolina. I've heard ad nauseum from self-proclaimed experts that Romney is the "inevitable" nominee and that South Carolina chooses Presidents. If the latter is true, then our next president will be Newt Gingrich. However, the backpedaling will now begin. We'll now be told that South Carolina isn't so important after all. I hope that Gingrich is prepared for a media and Republican establishment onslaught of biblical proportions. Read it and weep, suckers.

Fox News reports that 7 of 10 Gingrich voters affiliate with the Tea Party according to exit polls.

Fox also is now projecting that Rick Santorum will finish third, ahead of Ron Paul.

"A double-digit lead by Romney collapsed within a week." -- Charles Krauthammer

8:40 p.m. Tonight's big winner, Sarah Palin, who never seems to be tone deaf.

8:59 p.m. I loved Rick Santorum's concession speech. Nice job.
