Romney-Boated

So Gingrich decides to whine that he's been "Romney-Boated." I don't much care for the analogy, unless Gingrich is accusing Romney of telling the truth about him. Here Gingrich is using a leftist canard to attack his opponent again. There is no real analogy. Not even close. The swift-boat veterans were great Americans who did the right thing. They are heroes, who correctly outed John Kerry as a traitorous slimeball. Gingrich is not going to endear himself to conservatives with his too-clever-by-half turn of a phrase.
