Newt's former Wife's statements Inconsistent and Contradictory

Newt Gingrich's ex-wife will reportedly say in an interview airing tonight that he approached her about wanting an open marriage and that she refused.

The story she tells is not consistent with this 1999 interview in which she said Newt told her he wanted a divorce and she was totally shocked.

Apart from that, I believe that Newt's affairs are already "built into the stock price" so to speak. The electoral damage is already there and accounted for. Gingrich has been upfront and repentant for his past indiscretions. I do not see this story having legs.

Update:

"She has been reported to say that she could end his candidacy with a single interview."

This threat says more about her than it does about Newt. She must have taken a break from the Soprano's waste management office to get before the camera.
